Morusque - Funki good time
"Nice work. Absolutely terrific example of how to take various samples and make a coherent track rather than something that’s disjointed and erratic."

The 3am Association - Kaer Trouz Sings The Blues
ok, now i really am a day late this time. :)
"With all due respect to KT, i don’t think i’ve ever heard her sound better than on this track. Your Production is top notch, the jazz, blues feel that you have here just pulls you in. I’m really truly digging this."

Knightsnare - Split Locators
Featuring Ms. Kidd and Frank H. Carter III
"This mix is a perfect reason of why I so love CCMixter: this is just so far from where I could have reimagined this song. The New Order/Depeche Mode vibe is ill. Very, VERY interesting and very cool! The only negative thing I would say is that in places, it feels like the speed of the vocals sounds out of sync in some places! But all in all - Well done!!!"

BO Crew - Outstanding
"I have been waiting for BOCrew to deliver something like this for some time. There were signs they had made a change sonically a while back. Its a minimalist, wrapped up in a fleecy quilt, woolly jumper sort of a sound that oddly is in contrast to the words and delivery of Abhi SV but it just works. The title speaks for itself."

Ivan Chew - Under The Velveteen Skies
"Although the byline for this upload is to me, I cannot claim full credit for it. It’s a 4-way collaborative effort featuring three other very talented and very cool people I befriended at ccMixter. What you’re hearing is the title track of the album, with colab on piano, narva9 on vocals, guitars and erhu from me, and all coming together with the teru touch. The full album can be downloaded here at www.archive.org.
The project started serendipitously. Took seven months and for a time I wasn’t sure if it would be completed. Now that it is, it’s a bit of an anti-climax for me. I’ve posted a chronological blow-by-blow at this post — how the collaboration came about and how the title track was put together.
It’s an album built upon the foundations laid by Creative Commons. And made possible with the generosity, talents and inspiration of colab (Mikael Hansson), teru and narva9."

sunbyrn - If I Wait
I just finished a remix of this vocal track and I hadn't heard the original version before i did it. Good thing cause if I had, I probably wouldn't have even tried. I still like my remix for going in a different direction, but this original version is simply bad ass and would have scared me off immediately.

Spinning Merkaba - Soldier (History Repeats Itself)
"DJ Vadim's solo drum tracks grooved and immediately took me in a totally different direction from the original mix. when brad stanfield released his "people lets stop the war" stems, i had just started mixing, so had to throw those in the mix. and man did it click! and then snowflake blessed the track with a searing vocal performance, and a funky organ sampling on the handjive. what came out of it all is a lo-fi rock anthem dedicated to the reluctant soldier. many thanks to snowflake, dj vadim, and brad stanfield for the great source tracks."
